About Us
Martin Iversen
I’m Martin Iversen and I am a specialist Consultant and Executive, Management and Personal Development Coach. I work across industrial and business sectors in the area of Operational Risk, Crisis Management and Governance. As a Coach I work with individuals and organisations to support development, change and performance in order to build resilience.
My early career was in the emergency and security services, working on the front line and in specialist groups, in tough environments, with everything that brings. In a change of direction, I then spent over 25 years working internationally in the energy industry and now in private business and consultancy – from the UK and Europe, to the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the Americas.
Starting as an individual contributor, a specialist, I moved on to lead teams, departments and in senior corporate leadership roles at Vice President level, large sections of companies, advising at Board level. During this time, I was fortunate to work with people whom I would rate as the best leaders in the world. I was also fortunate to be coached and mentored by these people and work for organizations that invested heavily in their people.
I have been doing this a long time. Throughout my leadership career I have focussed on the development of my people, many of whom have gone on to successful careers building teams of their own.
I am now here to support you.
Why work with Martin?
There are many coaches and consultants out there.
So why work with me. Let me explain.
I’ve been there.
From my early days as a police office on the streets of London, 30 year global career in the energy industry, to my commercially focussed consultancy business:
- I have lived with the day-to-day issues that senior leaders face: I have sat at that table.
- I know what it is like to face personal challenge, face up to failure and make difficult decisions: I've had my setbacks.
- I know how to untangle the complex issues that distract organizations from their targets as I've: worked those issues.
- I know what it takes to build and manage operations in challenging environments: my assignments have taken from Europe to the Middle East, Former Soviet Union, Southeast Asia and Australasia.
Through this, I know what it takes to build a successful career and guide others to do the same.
Success, happiness and fulfilment are the outcome of getting everything else right. So let start working on the everything.

Heimdall empowers people and organisations to be the best they can be

Creating your Future is a process
When asked, most people and, indeed organisations, would tell you that they want to be successful, perform well, be happy and fulfilled and resilient enough to deal with the challenge that today’s world brings. What they don’t realise is that success, performance, fulfilment, happiness and resilience are the outcome of getting everything else right.
You have to create the context, circumstances and environment to be successful, to be happy and be fulfilled.
It is about understanding who you are, where you are and where you want to be, closing-out the past and moving on.
Understanding what it will take to achieve that and then having a plan to get there.
It is also a process in which the best outcomes are planned. It’s a process that anyone can follow, including you …
Working one-on-one, or in small groups and larger team environments we provide tools and processes to facilitate the development of a Vision for the future and more importantly a plan of how to achieve it.
Its about having the right Mindset, Structure and skillset.
